Still, it's great code, well tuned, and didn't take too long to get the basics working. Right now, I've got a basic mouse device working without SRQ (meaning, I can only talk when spoken to, I can't request to be spoken to), but it's enough to demo that it's working.
By far the two most popular Mac projects are. I also can across while I was searching for info.
I'm not sure, I don't have a IIci so can't test at the moment. It's possible the IIci is SCSI only as well. I still need to figure out how the SCSI mode works. Those logs of the transactions are from the TechStep's receive pin, so they're what the IIsi is sending back to the TechStep, not what the TechStep is sending. The ROM echos the commands it received, but not the arguments, so like when *T is in the log, it didn't capture what test was being executed.
As much as I like Mortal Kombat, I've always wished Midway would have used the Street Fighter II style layout. The 2 rows of 3 buttons is, IMHO, the best layout for most games. So I modified the MK layout by moving the middle button up to be in line with the other two side ones and then just added another button to the bottom row.
I just spotted this on Ebay I am wondering if this would work on a IIGS, does adb devices need drivers or is it more or less plug and play. I need to look up the adb buss standards I suppose. (more fun research) On another note I found a gravis 3 button joystick with the cord missing after opening it up and having a look,it became obvious that the cord was somehow riped out of the mechanisim I can take pictures if any one is interested. The good news is that other then the wires being cut and torn away nothing looks broken (all the plastic bits and pieces are fine).
This may seem obvious to everyone else, but I was trying to use my joystick like a mouse and failing miserably. Then I read the Read Me's that are included, and in the Read Me that deals with joysticks, there is this sentence tucked away that clearly says use your mouse to navigate while onboard the Independence.
When the ROM executes the code, it jumps to the specified address, but before it does, it stores the address after the jmp in register A6. The disassembly of that code (I think) is. Kmc 4400r dvr drivers for mac. I put captures of both rx and tx sides for a P600. I haven't gone all through the captures yet though. Cnwcam21 drivers for mac. There's a lot of floppy related tests that I didn't get through, partly because it seemed to fail doing even basic tests on the floppy drive that I thought was working. Probably good data to have anyway, but wasn't what I was looking for.
That is unless you perhaps convert it as suggested by Mr. On that I have no idea if it will work the same as a PC joystick.

I intend to repair this stick for eventual use on either a IIe or II+ or possibly the IIgs if I don't have to interface it to the adb buss. The plan is to bring out all the signals to a M/F d9 connecter and make adapter cables for the various apple computer systems. Less simple answer is yes and no.
